MASSIMO PEDUZZI – 1970 – SCHIGNANO
Massimo gets involved into the traditional carnival of Schignano since childhood, beginning to participate himself since the age of 13.
The first wooden mask he bore was lent by an old mask-carver, Luigi Peduzzi, and then by the best-known Battista Peduzzi who later became also his “master” when, in 2007, he begun to confront the fascinating practice of wood carving.
Gradually his technical skills improved and he joined the other local mask-carvers in their association “la maschera”.
Massimo became member of “Mascherai Alpini” in 2016.
The wood he mainly uses for his masks is walnut.
